Double B Event Planning is a full-service Event Planning company based in Sturgeon County, Alberta. Operating since 2019, I pride myself on my highly customized and unique events. Whether planning your next Wedding, Birthday, family reunion, I’m here to make sure that each and every event I’m involved with is inspiring, extraordinary, and unforgettable. 
My name is Barbara Bill, hints the double B, I'm the owner & planner of everything Double B Events. I was born and raised in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia and moved to Alberta 14 years ago to be closer to my family. Growing up I was always the kid with a clean, everything in its spot room. I have always been super organized and always early for everything, some would call me a perfectionist and I'm totally OK with it!
Crafting and camping are some of my hobbies and I love anything wild and earthy. Birds, animals, plants, dirt, rocks, feathers and anything else outside. I have a vegetable garden in my backyard and love flowers. I have three cats Ping, Harvey and Smokie and a dog named Hanzo and they are my babies. My dream one day would be for me and my husband to own our own Christmas tree farm and have a winter wedding venue. 
I have always had a love for parties, as a kid my parents would have theme party's for me and my twin for our birthday, and I have been in love ever since. Going above and beyond with decorations and really setting the mood of the party theme is my passion. For years all my friends and family always say "you should be a event planner". It has always been a dream of mine to organize parties for a living, so I'm excited to finally be finished my event management certificate and wedding planning certificates and I'm ready to help others make their dreams and ideas come alive in an amazing event!
